To me, Ascendant was the discovery of the year! Favorite track: Landfall.

Gary Figueroa The overall languid calm resulting in a transcendent listening experience makes this LP especially appealing. The tone of the album from start to finish invites the listener to give in and release their imagination as they enter on this celestial journey. Spellbinding with gorgeous Berlin School touches make for an exceptional ambient listen. Ascendant has done a superb job with this release. Highly recommended. Favorite track: Frozen Clouds.

FLESH MECHANIC Meridian encapsules everything I want from space ambient. It's like when you open up a galaxy map in Mass Effect and just float from planet to planet. Those little melodies playing in the foreground of the massive synth lines, that's just everything you'd possibly need from this genre. Naturally this is 100% headphone material, just lay down, close your eyes and enjoy the trip. Favorite track: Frozen Clouds.
